  3. I think it is "friendship, truth and love". It puzzles me why the "and" ie the "ET" is at the end.

  8. I think I figured out why the "et" is at the end. On the top there are the Latin words "Friendship" and "Truth". On the bottom there is a sculpture o a lion, the latin word 'Love" & "and" followed by a sculpture of an anchor. My interpretation is that the bottom line must mean "courage (the lion), love and hope (the anchor)". So all together it is Friendship, Truth, Courage, Love and Hope.

  9. Actually it all fits because there are five morals and five people so each of the human figures must represent one of the morals.

  10. Everything is in order. The lady kneeling is "Friendship",the mother is "Truth", the baby is "Love", the tall women gazing directly ahead is "Courage" and the lady with the Cross is "Hope".

  12. There are also five emblems on the shield and five fingers on the hand each signifying Friendship, Truth, Courage, Love and Hope.
