Werribee Zoo

It was 5pm.  We grasped the seat in front of us as the vehicle suspension bounced us from side to side.
A balmy evening breeze brought with it the surrounding savanna.  A lake lay ahead mirroring a
cloudless blue canopy.  As we approached a solitary ripple multiplied rolling repeatedly to the shore.
To our amazement a hippopotamus broke the stillness.  Aloof but alert it blinked as  cameras
clicked.

  3. May look sheepish, but these animals are really wild when provoked into rage. Great shot!
