  3. This is quite original. Do you think the artist had to paint through the bars to create his image or do they open? I like the reference to Renaissance art and the link it creates across the centuries to the current piece. The cartoonish paste-ups confuse me and I wonder if they were originally parts of an earlier work. Of course, then I wonder if the whole composition is a paste-up. It's hard to tell. Regardless, it's interesting and reveals a unique vision. Hosier Lane must be fun to visit. Thanks so much, Joe, for sharing this with us and participating in this week's meme.
