Hi V ... I am not a fan of animals in captivity but am pleased that the days of concrete enclosures at Melbourne Zoo are long gone. The Gorilla park is huge and provides plenty of space for these magnificent creatures to roam. If you like these animals you will like this video of a pack of Gorillas approaching and touching a photographer. It really is quite amazing and moving ... Cheers J.

ReplyDeleteOh wow, he's huge! Yes I agree the zoos seem to be all about giving the animals they have a better environment now Joe, we used to have those horrible bear enclosures at the Perth Zoo, now we don't, we don't have bears either but that's ok!
