Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne

Hi V ... This is the Bourke Street Mall looking eastwards to Parliament House and the spire of St Patrick's Cathedral.  The city was buzzing with people and the bars and cafes were jumping. Today was the transit of Venus in front of the sun. An event which only happens twice a century. The events which make up this image will only ever happen once.  Cheers J.

  3. The vibrant image looks even better when you click to enlarge Joe, funny thing is when you do enlarge, it looks like a pair of cats eyes looking out of the dark sky up there in the centre of the shot!
