Night Orchid

Hi V ... Thought I would experiment a little.  Although I have titled this one "Night Orchid" it was taken at dusk.  The orchid was back lit by the evening sun. Using a tripod I took three photographs in quick succession to minimise movement between each one.  Each had a slightly different exposure, one normal, one under and one overexposed. I then merged the three photos, cranked up the contrast and souped up the saturation using free software called Luminance HDR.  Although its far removed from pure photography, I quite like the effect. Cheers J.

  1. Hi J,
Sometimes it's fun to play around with a photograph. This one is lovely and I didn't suspect
all the razzle dazzle you added.
    Cheers,
    V
