Ford Prefect Sedan A493A

Hi V ... Wouldn't it be nice to have one of these to bob around in over the weekend.  Mr Google tells me it is an A493A Prefect Sedan which was in production in Australia from 1949 to 1953.  It evolved from a line of British cars produced by the UK section of the Ford Motor Company. I spotted this beautifully restored one in Williamstown last weekend.  Gotta love that blue.  Even the steering wheel matches! Beep beep. J.

  2. Oh, so wonderful. I'd love a car like that! It's beautiful to look at - and what fun it would be to drive in! (Maybe not for too many thousand miles but . . .)

  3. And I though I knew something about Ford cars. The Ford Perfect is a new one for me, but then I'm sure there were some British Fords that I don't know. Great photo, and love the blue color.

  7. Beep-beep, indeed! How sporty would it be to jaunt around town in that beauty! I would have to carefully plan my riding ensemble!
