Eureka Tower - Skywatch Friday

Hi V ... Eureka Tower standing at 297.3 metres tall with 92 floors at 7 Riverside Quay Southbank built in 2006 is currently the tallest building in Melbourne.  While not as a high a new development proposed at 220 metres high with 71 floors of residential living is planned right in the heart of the CBD at the south east corner of Queen and;
Bourke streets. It's called Tower Melbourne and will dwarf most of its surrounding buildings. Cheers J.

  1. What a dauntingly beautiful place. I imagine it must have a hauntingly different atmosphere when the skies are grey.

  2. It's a very stylish building Joe ... are you going to buy an apartment at the very top of Tower Melbourne? Just think of the view.

  3. I'm imagining the cost Dianne. Think I would prefer to keep my feet on the ground somehow but thanks for the suggestion.

  6. We don't have any attractive contemporary skyscrapers like this here in Charleston. It must be a treat to have it as photography subject. I like how you captured that spark of sunlight on the edge!
