The Commoners

Hi V ... This artwork is called "The Commoners" and was on display in the National Gallery of Victoria a couple of weeks ago.  The 'ghosted' or absent figures represent the role and place of the common worker within contemporary Indonesian society. It was created by Jompet Kuswidananto.  It was quite eerie when the drummer began to beat the drum.  Cheers J.
