Morell Bridge or Anderson Street Bridge?
Hi V ... I have always known this bridge with it's three arches that span the Yarra River at South Yarra as the Anderson Street Bridge. I was surprised to learn that the name was changed from the Anderson Street Bridge to the Morell Bridge in 1936. I guess some things just refuse to change. Cheers J.
I didn't know it wasn't always called the Morell Bridge! I've only known it as that, but that's only since I moved to the area 8 years ago. I'm not sure I knew it even existed before that, much less what it was called.
