TEMPLE OF HEPHAESTUS, ATHENS

Construction of the Temple of Hephaestus in the ancient Agora of Athens commenced in 449 BC (2,462 years ago) two years before the Parthenon and today it still stands largely as it was originally built. Made to last!

  1. It really is astounding that 2462 years later we still have the opportunity to see these wonders. Perfectly shown here Joe.
