ST KILDA PIER REFLECTIONS

After taking many photographs of the sunset from our vantage point out on the sand bars while the tide was out at St Kilda Beach we packed up our gear and headed for home happy with our evening.  As we drove past St Kilda pier Mrs J noticed the calmness of the bay and a crystal reflection.  For a moment we kept driving content with our earlier photographs, reconciled that we could return another night. That thought was fleeting. While we could return another night perhaps the conditions would not be so co-operative.  A U-turn was quickly made, a parking spot found and within minutes the camera was perched on its tripod, the remote shutter release set and exposure settings adjusted.  If we had not stopped we would have been unable to share this moment in time. Best viewed in full screen.  Feel fee to SHARE.  Bon Vivant J.
