Hi V... Today is ANZAC Day a public holiday and national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who fought at Gallipoli in the Ottoman Empire during WW1. The dawn service at the Shrine was conducted at around 6am under a canopy of umbrellas protecting some 35,000 people from rain and inclement weather. This photo is in the Basement of The Shrine. J.
