Hi V ... I saw this wind vane and thought of the movie "North by North West". Do you remember it? It's an old Alfred Hitchcock Thriller. The story of a hapless New York advertising executive who is mistaken for a government agent by a mysterious organisation and is pursued across the country while he looks for a way to survive. Sounds like a normal day at the office! Cheers J.
When I saw this photo, I tend to think of a sundial in life. Interesting to relate to the horror movie :P
ReplyDeleteYes, Hitchcock movies are certainly memorable! I like your red and blue composition with the strong lines, especially the diagonals :^)

ReplyDeleteThat is one of my favorite movies. Some of it was shot in my home town of Chicago, and some in my current state of South Dakota. Unfortunately Mount Rushmore has rebuilt of building where a major scene was shot. Like your photo.
ReplyDeleteI never saw the movie Joe but I remember the title .... It fits well with your capture.
