Wonderful angle and depth of field... I immediately thought about all the shots I have of the fences around Tuileries in Paris. Love the lighting on this one too!
Thanks for all your comments. I wonder whether the lighton the edge worked because I was using a fixed f/1.8 lens which I'm told has a fast shutter speed but still let's in a light of light and is good for night shots?
Hmm, not sure, but I do like the DOF you get with bigger apertures. My only prime lens gives me F2 but I don't need use it nearly enough because of the limitations of the fixed focal length.
Brilliant photo! - love the light on the iron.
ReplyDeleteGreat image
ReplyDeleteThat is magnificent Joe. I love the shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the patterns and the abstractness of it all, even though it is instantly recognisable- clever!

Great capture Joe. Love the copper colourings, reflections and depth of field you have chosen here.
ReplyDeleteHighlights at the edge of an image are usually a recipe for visual disaster but here it works a treat. Clever stuff!
ReplyDeleteWell how much do I love this shot!!! Superb Joe.

One of your best, I reckon Joe. Lovely shot. And I agree with John above. That light at the edge shouldn't work but it does.
