Hi V ... I'm not even sure when Asparagus Season is anymore. It seems to be available all year round ... I love it but some tell me it's a bit of an acquired taste ... yum ... J.
You can tell the season when you get a couple of bunches for $3 ... and when they are neither fat and stringy, nor thin and weedy. When they are in abundance ... like now.
Dear J, I love em too, marinated is my favorite way. They always look so jaunty standing at attention and the blue bands add a certain je ne sais quoi! V
Excellent! Love asparagus!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour GREEN and Asparagus.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot joe joe!
My favorite is grilled or roasted asparagus... miam-miam! We get ours in abundance in the spring and they also have the blue rubber bands!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
I love asparagus Joe, with garlic butter and pepper, simple but delish. In fact I feel like some right now seeing as you've mentioned it!!
ReplyDelete«Louis» shares your fondness for asparagus! Yum, indeed!
ReplyDeleteLovely vegetable, lovely photograph.
