Hosier Lane

Hi V ... The street art in Hosier Lane changes constantly.  This is one of the more recent additions.

  1. Lucky you to have a revolving art gallery in this alley. This is an intriguing image. Don't know if there is a political message here, but it certainly is well executed. I'm seeing echos of Art Nouveau style, especially Mucha. The tattoos remind me of Maori body art. Thanks, Joe, for participating in this week's Monday Mural.

  2. It's fabulous Joe- realy vivid and stylish. I like murals that change often too- just like an art gallery.

  3. Stunning color in this one! Not sure who it may represent, but it is nicely done! What a concept - to have changing murals! That would take a lot of time and dedication!

  4. So dramatic Joe, what a shame to have to paint over it.

  5. The mural has lots of expression left for the viewer to interpret.

  9. Good color and design but I would have to see the context to give it a thumbs up.

  11. I like this a lot. The highlights in the hair and tattoos are intriguing. Wonder if there's any significance to the end of her nose... not sure if it's just part of the tattoo or something else.
