Hi V ... anther depiction a favourite location, Station Pier. There are in fact two lighthouses; the one in the photograph and another about 400 metres behind this spot, on land, in the middle of a road intersection. The Captain of a ship could ensure a safe passage into port by lining up the beacon at the top of each lighthouse. I thought the red tint in the sky added a touch of drama. Cheers J.
