St George

Hi V ... Today is St George Day and above is Sir Joseph Edgar Boehms representation of St George slaying the Dragon which was installed outside the Melbourne State Library 124 years ago in 1889.  For depictions of St George around the world visit  City Daily Photo.

    St George seems to be almost part of the Aus vernacular.... I hadn't thought about that much, but he can be found anywhere.
