The Block Arcade - Melbourne

Hi V ... Sunlight, skylights and electric lights compete for attention in the glorious Block Arcade off Collins and Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.  Constructed between 1891  and 1893 it was designed to produce something similar to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan.  A must see J.  Photo courtesy of Mrs J.

    Oh yes! The arches with the iron fretwork are sublime Joe, I would definitely not miss this if I were In Melbourne! Merci beaucoup Mrs. J :)
