The regular artistic (accidental) arrangement of the spacing of these buildings is wonderful. The varying heights, materials and colors make a great composition that you captured so well. This almost looks like a set of toys, building blocks.
Thank you for all your comments. This photo is a relatively new angle for Melbourne. It was taken from the 2oth floor of the new Crown Metropol Hotel which I am told celebrated it's first anniversary in April 2011.
