Beneath Bolte Bridge

Hi V ... The Bolte Bridge spans the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour in the Docklands precinct to the west of the Melbourne CBD.  The Southern Star Observation Wheel is visible between two of the bridge piers.  Hopefully it will be running soon. Cheers J.

    You have some great composition going on here with the pylon in the background, and the 'eye' between the bridge columns. Very nicely photographed!

    Thanks for your recent comments on St. Louis Daily Photo. That part of the bridge is the same color as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Guaranteed to get your attention.

      Thanks Bob. I wonder whether the designers intended to paint it a similar colour to the Golden Gate Bridge.

    Nah ... I think the designers just have that 'in yer face' Melbourne design ethic that I see everywhere down there. We are only just segueing into that sort of ediface colouration up here, Joe. We take our time, we do ...
