Athens, Greece

Our travels took us to two destinations in Greece; Athens and Santorini.  Both were a delight.  Ancient pillars reach for the sky.  Imagine the gleam in the marble when they were first built.

    That is just utterly gorgeous. Ruins have a beauty all their own.
