Last night we were fortunate to snaffle tickets for the opening night of Mother & Son a revival of an Australian TV comedy series on stage. Like the TV series the play took a humourous look at caring for the aged, dementia and responsibility. We laughed with Maggie, the ageing Mother, as she grappled with the cordless phone, mobile ring tones, the television remote and personal alarms it reminded me that as we take each trip around the sun the important thing is to smile. PS a touch of selective memory doesn't hurt either. Cheers J.
