| Hi V - This is the monument atop the portico of the Hotel Windsor in Spring Street Melbourne. It pre-dates the Ritz and Savoy Hotels in London, Raffles in Singapore and The Plaza in New York. It is the only surviving hotel of its type in Melbourne. Long Live the "Duchess of Spring Street". Cheers J. |
