I adore the symmetry you have achieved here, Joe. I also like the design work and the colouring of the cathedral. It is interesting how the various sects approach photography: up here I have many internal shots of St Andrews; but, am jumped upon as soon as I point my camera in St Marys.
Interesting to see how many traditional architectural elements have been combined to create something that has a unique feel. Cheers....and Happy Christmas.
I think the warm light coming in from the ceiling skylight is just giving off the most amazing mellow light on the timber surrounding it, beautifully captured. I hope you and your family have a brilliant Christmas Joe, keep safe.

ReplyDeleteThank Julie and John. I also liked the glow of the timber. Merry Christmas to you.
ReplyDeleteA shot probably not many see in a large church... so many nooks and crannies.
