Wow, this IS intricate. Quite captivating in a psychedelic, masochistic kinda way. Lots of piercings and even a third and fourth eye. I think this is a paste-up; printed in the studio on paper and then put up with wheat paste. The weather will degrade it in time. I'm fascinated by people who create art knowing it will not endure. Any idea on the artist? I see his initials on the lower right. Thanks, Joe for sharing this on Monday Mural.
I love this so much. The anatomical details are really well done (blood vessels on end, trachea, nervous system, lymph glands, etc), the rough feelings of the pierced and tattooed tough guy, and the tribal style. The asymmetrical eyes are a little disconcerting though.
Very strange - much detail, and very talented - but strange, nevertheless! Makes you wonder sometimes about the trips people take in their mind!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is quite an intricate design! Cool find Joe!
ReplyDeleteMm! nails through his neck .... definitely on the dark side!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool!
ReplyDeleteWow that is such a complicated piece of artwork Joe, would love to know what the artist was trying to express!

ReplyDeleteThat is just gorgeous. The detail is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteAmazing street art. Great capture Joe.
ReplyDeleteIntricate and faintly anatomical. Reminds a little of the X-ray paintings of some aboriginal art, Joe.
