This is the Bourke Street "Mall" on a drizzly Saturday afternoon. Dictionary.com tells me that a "Mall" is a public walk or promenade. Perhaps we need a new name for our Melbourne "Mall". With a double lane tramway down the centre it is not either "public walk" or "promenade" friendly. Don't get me wrong I like the mall but perhaps we should call it a ....... ? Complete the blank J. What about cars Joe, are cars allowed? If so then really it would simply be Bourke St. non? Super rainy day image, looks like the weather hasn't dampened the shopping vibe!
