RIPPON LEA REFLECTIONS
The lake, boat house and reflected willow in the Rippon Lea gardens suggests peace, tranquillity and lazy afternoons. I wonder how often Frederick and Maran Sargood, the original owners, got to sit back and just enjoy the view in the late nineteenth century. Photographed by Cinzia.
From the name and the garden scenery it appears that they were trying to create a little bit of England down-under - minus the winter weather of course.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Fred and Maran, but I'm sure enjoying the view.
