So what does that mean 'Indian summer'? I know the expression: one that lasts longer than usual. But is it sub-continent Indian, or North American Indian?
Very nice capture, Joe. Well nice for Melbourne ... anyway ...
Thx for your comments. Alan - it was taken at Ormond Point in Elwood. Julie - I always thought of it as a phrase to describe Summer likecweather that extends into Autumn. According to Wikipedia (are they ever wrong) I think my usage is correct although it suggests it applies to the Northern Hemisphere - guess we don't count down here in the antipodes.
Beautiful capture!
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvellous sky. Superb.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
Literally took my breath away Joe. Amazing! Where did you take it?

That is an amazing shot and I do not think that I have ever seen the sky with that color... might be worth a trip "down under" to see!

Beautiful sky! The color reminds me of sunsets that I used to watch in Southern California.
